got mold?™ was recently awarded an asbestos abatement project by the Southeast Cornerstone Public School Division in Weyburn, Saskatchewan as part of the demolition process of the former Weyburn Junior High building.
The former Weyburn Junior High school building has been vacant for two years since its closure and due to the Government of Saskatchewan’s Asbestos Safety regulations, in order to demolish a building, asbestos first needs to be safely removed.
Due to the age of the building, this asbestos removal project contains a large amount of low, moderate, and high-risk asbestos-containing materials.
The majority of the project involves a high-risk asbestos abatement of vermiculite asbestos in the cinderblock walls of the former school.
The got mold?™ team is currently underway in the process of completing the abatement of all asbestos-containing materials inside of the former school and will be providing updates throughout the project on our social media accounts.
